In order to help begin and develop new stateside congregations, the CLC provides a monthly subsidy to start-up congregations. Each year the subsidy is reduced, until the congregation becomes self-supporting. They are then, in turn, able to help with the founding and initial support of other new congregations. Each Sunday, services are held in both English and German. The congregation of the Church of the Lutheran Confession of North Port, FL. The group is served by Pastor Paul Larsen. http://clcnorthportlutheran.com The members of Grace, Live Oak have recently purchased and renovated the historic chapel which they had been borrowing for a number of years. Pastor Karl Stewart shepherds the group. Ascension Lutheran of Batavia IL is served by Pastor David Baker. http://ascensionbatavia.org Ascension Lutheran Church serves the greater Tacoma area of Washington State. Rev.
