In April of 1984, Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church began as a preaching station in Live Oak, FL served by Pastor John Reim who was then serving Immanuel Lutheran Church, Winter Haven, FL. Since that time, the church has prospered under the direction of Pastors; M.J.Witt, Michael J. Roehl, E. Jay Hartmann, Stephen Sydow and Karl R. Stewart. A parsonage was built on donated land next to a vacant church building. Last year we were able to purchase the church and ground. A new roof has been recently added to the 100 year old building and other renovations are planned in the near future. We serve a small rural town of about 6, 000 people in North Central Florida. With great pride and joy we proclaim the saving gospel of Jesus Christ to the world. Everyone is encouraged to read, study and meditate upon the Holy Bible, the inspired Holy Scriptures and to gather together in worship and service to our Lord, Jesus Christ.
